WHO ARE WE?
Bir Music Festival was founded in 2020 by Alakhananda – a ‘to be’ mother then. In the pandemic crises, when the village needed a reason, a face and an identity in fields of art and music to boost tourism, Alakhananda and a group of volunteers curated the first season of Bir Music Festival.
Since then, volunteers and a small team comprising of Piyush, Bakul, Raghav, Vivek and more headed by Alakhananda curate a season of the festival every six months to promote original music and the village Bir.
This self-funded, bootstrap festival has been progressing slowly but steadily and will surely reach the epitome of being successful at creating a perfect platform for original music and art art which will also being the village Bir in the most desired and admired destinations of the world.
